The agronomic team of the Agro-Region Group inspected their own experimental plots of major crops grown on the land areas within three clusters.
“There are numerous technological aspects that must be considered, each one important in its own right. That’s why the company conducts its own research to select optimal solutions. This includes testing different plant protection systems on one variety or hybrid, various nutrition systems, and a broad range of varieties and hybrids from different producers,” said Yurii Lysak, Chief Agronomist.
According to him, agronomic science never stands still; new solutions constantly emerge that require evaluation—some advances can scale up production, while others turn out unsuitable.
“As an example, various weed control methods for corn demonstrate completely different results. Our agronomists have already had the opportunity to assess these methods and discuss interim findings,” Yurii Lysak added.
He explained that once the plots are evaluated in the autumn, the research results will clarify which technological combinations will be adopted into production practices.
