Throughout the panels and discussions, participants addressed the key topics shaping the development of the agricultural sector today. They talked about the approaches and results of R&D departments, the impact of climate change on cultivation technologies, the spread of new pathogens and ways to counter them. Particular attention was given to ecological practices — the use of biological protection, cover crops, and rational soil tillage systems. The discussions were intensive and grounded in real on-farm cases.
Dmytro Tarasiuk, Procurement Director at Agro-Region, noted: “Although the topics of the conference do not directly fall within my professional field — procurement — participating in TrueAgro was extremely beneficial. The event helped me better understand the complexity of technological processes and the challenges faced by agronomists and research teams. This context expands one’s perspective and allows for a more accurate assessment of production needs.”
Antonina Prylipko, a seed production agronomist, highlighted the meaningful panel discussions and important honest conversations about staff shortages and the state of scientific institutions.
“Engaging topics, professional speakers, and genuine exchange of practical experience — that’s what makes such events truly valuable. Participants from different regions, different approaches to cultivation, and different ways of tackling the same challenges. It was highly informative. The name TrueAgro fully lived up to itself: plenty of honest discussions and cooperation for the future,” she added.
Agro-Region continues to move forward on the path of development, collaboration, and responsible agriculture.
