How have relations with shareholders changed since the opening of the land market? Has anything changed, or nothing at all? How problematic is it to renegotiate contracts? Or, on the contrary, are there no difficulties?

Viktor Suslovets: The opening of the land market has positively impacted relations with shareholders. There is no mass selling from landowners, but if necessary, shareholders can sell their land plots without problems and receive the necessary funds, usually to address their needs.

Regarding lease agreements, we mostly don’t have problems concluding contracts for new land plots or extending existing agreements.

There are some difficulties if landowners have expectations regarding the lease payment size that are higher than market rates, or if a landowner decides to engage in cultivation.

How do you cooperate with local communities?

Viktor Suslovets: Given the events of recent years and the situation in the agricultural sector, the company has had to somewhat reduce spending on social projects in communities. At the same time, we assist communities in solving urgent problems related to ensuring the functioning of schools and preschool educational institutions. We help with snow clearing on rural roads and sometimes participate in funding repairs of certain road sections, and so on.

How do you maintain the company’s good reputation in the areas where it operates?

Viktor Suslovets: Timely and fully fulfilling obligations regarding lease payments. It is necessary to respond promptly to appeals from lessors and local communities. Providing assistance to communities in ensuring their livelihood.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of your team? What principles do you follow in working with people within the team and with external counterparts?

Viktor Suslovets: Strengths include team spirit, support within the team, and a focus on results. Weaknesses include low efficiency in resolving urgent issues.
