According to him, representatives of the international technology company BASF visited the Kyiv cluster on a familiarization tour, during which both parties exchanged experience.

“We are open to cooperation with all market players, which is why we constantly communicate and explore new technological solutions. Agro-Region annually establishes its own demo plots with various agrotechnological approaches, the best of which are scaled up into production processes,” he added.

Volodymyr Kravtsov also noted that BASF representatives primarily listened and learned more about Agro-Region, in particular which crop protection systems are currently the most relevant.

“With the help of automated crop monitoring and a forecasting system for diseases and pests, we constantly analyze which products to apply, in what rates, and on which fields. This approach helps reduce both the negative environmental impact and the occurrence of technological risks,” he concluded.
