The Kyiv cluster was the first within the Agro-Region Group of Companies to kick off the harvest, starting with winter rapeseed.
Meanwhile, in recent days, the Chernihiv cluster has begun threshing winter wheat.
“In the coming days, we expect full-scale harvesting to begin across the clusters. At the same time, the Western cluster will launch its harvesting campaign in about a week,” said Chief Agronomist Yurii Lysak.
According to him, this year’s weather made its own adjustments, and the group’s harvest started about two weeks later than usual.

“Rapeseed crops were damaged by frost, and the plants needed time to recover. Overall, compared to last year, the season has been cooler, so we started threshing later,” Yurii Lysak added.
He also noted that Agro-Region was fully prepared for the harvest, with two new Massey Ferguson IDEAL 8 combines ready to work — machines purchased in the spring. And the grain quality from the first hectares gives hope for a strong yield.
