The agronomy team is studying new wheat varieties

The agronomy team of Agro-Region Group paid a friendly visit to the agricultural enterprise “Zakhidnyi Buh”.

They got acquainted with the operation of the seed processing line at the plant, which is equipped with high-tech machinery and processes different varieties of wheat and soybeans.

They also visited the renovated agrochemical laboratory, which provides soil and plant analysis services.

“It’s an interesting and innovative company. We exchanged experiences on crop cultivation technologies and discussed new wheat varieties, with the perspective of selecting those that demonstrate high quality and yield for our soil and climate conditions, particularly for sandy soils,” noted Yurii Lysak, Chief Agronomist of Agro-Region.

According to him, the company has been cooperating with “Zakhidnyi Buh” for many years, and their wheat varieties have performed well in Agro-Region’s fields.
