In the starostats where the Chernihiv Cluster of the Agro-Region Group of Companies operates, events for children took place.
The Executive Director of the cluster, Kateryna Moroz, explains that during the summer holidays it is common practice for the company to organize children’s celebrations, and although this year they had to be postponed several times due to frequent air raid alerts, everything went splendidly.
“We also added an agro-interactive part, where everyone interested could learn about the work of an agronomist in the field, including calculating the seeding rate by weight, determining soil moisture and density, counting the number of plants, and so on,” she says.
At the same time, Kateryna Moroz adds that there was also a tour of the machinery. New exhibits were added, and children had the opportunity to look closely, touch, and even sit behind the wheel of large field equipment.
Experiments with fire extinguishers were also conducted, which, firstly, children really enjoy, and secondly, these are simple skills for handling such equipment.
“With popcorn, ice cream, music, and company, spending time becomes even more fun! We are glad we could bring a few smiles and some childhood joy,” concludes the Executive Director of the Chernihiv Cluster.
