The Agro-Region Group continues to implement its educational project AgriSCHOOL, which combines in-depth theoretical training with daily hands-on field experience for future agronomists. This year, the program has become even more dynamic — participants not only work in the fields but also attend educational sessions with leading scientists and practitioners.
“This is already the 10th edition of AgriSCHOOL,” says Chief Agronomist Yurii Lysak. “For us, it’s not just an internship program — it’s a strategic direction for building our talent pool and, at the same time, a social project that supports young people.”
This year, six students are taking part in the program. Three of them are new participants, while the other three — graduates from the previous edition who are now working as agronomists in different divisions of the company — joined to deepen their knowledge. All of them are studying or have recently graduated from leading agricultural universities in Ukraine. As before, the students work at Agro-Region enterprises as assistant agronomists, gaining hands-on experience in the fields every day.
“The program includes both daily practical work and theoretical modules. This year, we also organized field trips to the company’s grain elevator and laboratory, where students could see the entire post-harvest processing chain,” notes Yurii Lysak.

One of the key elements of AgriSCHOOL was the theoretical module, which concluded last week.
A distinctive feature of this year’s program is its flexible approach to shaping the learning topics. The project team surveys participants to assess their level of knowledge, adapts the content accordingly, and invites relevant experts. This approach ensures the development of practical skills that are directly applicable to real-world agronomy.
In November, the AgriSCHOOL team will summarize the results of this year’s program. According to Yurii Lysak, all participants have shown a high level of motivation and competence, giving them strong prospects for future employment within the Agro-Region Group.
