AgriTechnica 2025: from the exhibition floor to real strategy

21. 11. 25

Nikolay Nikolaychuk, Technical Director of the Agro-Region Group, joined a team of engineers from Ukrainian agricultural enterprises, supported by Massey Ferguson dealer IN FORCE GROUP, on a visit to the international exhibition AgriTechnica 2025 in Hannover. This is the world’s largest venue where the future of agricultural technology takes shape.

The agenda was intense: professional meetings at the stands of Massey Ferguson, Bednar and other leading manufacturers, reviewing updated machinery lines, analyzing technical innovations, and discussing their potential application in Ukrainian farms. After the exhibition, the team held a detailed debriefing to evaluate the technologies and explore opportunities for integration into production.

Nikolay Nikolaychuk emphasized the strategic value of participating in such events:

“AgriTechnica 2025 once again showed how fast the agricultural sector is changing. Our task is not to watch from the sidelines but to implement the best solutions in Agro-Region’s fields and maintain a technological advantage amid today’s challenges.”

The engineers focused on innovations capable of addressing daily operational tasks. One of the key highlights was the presentation of the Massey Ferguson 9S series with a hydraulic system of up to 400 L/min — a capability that enables full operation of new-generation wide-cut seeders, an especially relevant need for many Ukrainian farms.

Another critically important topic raised at the exhibition was the stability of machinery operation in conditions of GPS signal loss, especially under electronic warfare interference.

“Despite the abundance of new technologies and solutions, we did not see a ready-to-use system that would ensure uninterrupted operation of seeders, spreaders or sprayers in case of GPS loss. This is now one of the key challenges for Ukrainian farmers — and it must be solved together with manufacturers,” the Technical Director noted.

The trip to AgriTechnica 2025 became an important milestone in shaping Agro-Region’s technical strategy. The company continues to analyze the showcased solutions and assess their relevance for Ukrainian production conditions.
