Agro-Region plans to recruit female CE category drivers for internship

The Agro-Region group of companies is preparing to welcome female participants of the OnTrack program by Reskilling Ukraine for an internship at the production facilities of its clusters, particularly CE category drivers.

This was stated by HR Director Khrystyna Pyvovar.

According to her, the staffing issue in agribusiness is becoming increasingly urgent, which is why the company is actively engaged in the reintegration of veterans  and creating conditions to attract women to professions that were previously considered exclusively “male.”

Meanwhile, Mykhailo Shapoval, Chief Engineer of the service department, added that this week a group of CE category female drivers visited the company’s Kyiv cluster. The program participants were shown the work of a grain truck driver using a DAF tractor unit and were introduced to the specifics of working with a Daewoo Novus truck with a trailer.

“We demonstrated how the grain truck arrives at the Boryspil elevator, how samples are taken, where and how unloading takes place, and how digitized processes at the elevator work, including how drivers receive commands and how analyses are conducted. The trend suggests that women will gradually occupy this niche,” he added.
