Agro-Region has expanded its vehicle fleet and continues to invest in logistics

In the Agro-Region Group of Companies, with the aim of reducing logistics costs, the number of hired vehicles has been significantly reduced since 2022, and investments have been made in their own fleet, including modern trucks. Moreover, starting from 2024, the company actively provides logistics services.

This was noted by the Director of Transportation, Khrystyna Hulyda.

According to her, in 2020-2021, the number of hired vehicles during the peak periods of the harvest campaign historically reached up to 75%, but since 2022, this figure has been steadily decreasing and currently stands at no more than 50%, thanks to the increase in the number of company-owned vehicles.

“Of course, during the harvest, important factors are the weather conditions and the coordinated, efficient teamwork of specialists; the vehicles must not stop,” she adds.

In Agro-Region, their own grain trucks and hired transport enable the company to transport grain, fertilizers, plant protection products, etc., including:

• Transportation of their own harvest from the fields to storage facilities and elevators;
• Transportation from elevators within Ukraine (ports, factories, manufacturers);
• International freight transportation: export from Ukraine and import from European countries;
• Supply chain logistics.
