Elevators of Agro-Region are accepting new crop grain

17. 07. 24

The elevators of the Agro-Region Group of Companies have successfully begun receiving new crop grains.

The start is active, the work intensity is high, and the weather conditions allow for the reception of high-quality rapeseed with minimal processing; moisture and foreign matter are within the base limits.

The head of the Boryspil elevator, Vitalii Shevchuk, adds that the rapeseed quality this season is very good, with an average oil content of 44%. Additionally, according to him, preliminary wheat analyses indicate high quality of the new crop: moisture content, gluten, protein, and other parameters meet the highest standards.

Most of the early grain group is expected to arrive at the elevators in the coming weeks, notes the head of the Myropil elevator, Oleksandr Hurskyi. As for the late group, the bulk is expected in September-October.

All elevators in the group have undergone planned investments in energy independence, including the installation of pellet boilers on dryers, diesel generators, and solar power plants, ensuring uninterrupted operation during the harvesting season.

In addition, a major overhaul of the bucket elevators was carried out at the Zavorychi elevator, along with design work to increase the elevator’s throughput capacity and expand storage by 50%. Plans also include replacing the transport equipment with units twice as powerful, constructing an additional receiving pit, and installing additional truck scales.

The group’s elevators have all the tools and mechanisms to maintain the best sanitary and technical conditions, as well as certified laboratories with the most modern equipment.

“We are confident that thanks to the preparatory measures taken, our elevators will be able to effectively and efficiently serve farmers throughout the entire season,” concludes Vitalii Shevchuk, head of the Boryspil elevator.
