Among the agricultural trends of 2025 are innovative solutions related to risk management

Rational use of any resources is the key to the long-term success of both large and small enterprises, as the market, technology, and the world as a whole are constantly evolving.
This is emphasized by Volodymyr Kravtsov, the Chief Operating Officer of the Agro-Region Group of Companies. He is one of the members of the Expert Council of the All-Ukrainian competition “SILA AGROZMIN” in the category “Innovation in Agriculture and Smart Management.”
“Those who don’t play the innovation game hopelessly lose their competitive edge in the pursuit of desired efficiency,” says Volodymyr Kravtsov.
In his opinion, the greatest risk in the agri-food sector is the weather factor (aside from the military aggression by the Russian Federation). Therefore, innovative solutions related to risk management, such as irrigation, hydroponics, and similar technologies, will be in demand.
“Moreover, the development of AI opens up significant opportunities for selective nutrition and protection technologies in the agricultural sector,” he concludes.

From January 2 to January 15, 2025, the Expert Council will evaluate 30 applicants. The winner will be announced during the competition’s award ceremony, which will take place on January 23, 2025, as part of the USAID Agro Finance Summit financial conference.
