The Agro-Region Group of Companies has been using Cropwise Operations for several years. Not only is it utilized by the agronomic team, which, among other things, tracks planned crop rotations across land parcels for several years ahead, but it is also employed by other structural units within the enterprise.
The head of the company’s dispatch department, Nina Kharchenko, explains that dispatchers use the platform to create a daily work plan, which allows them to track, in real-time, which equipment is working with which materials and which agronomist is responsible.
If equipment does not leave for a scheduled task, notifications are sent to the responsible managers. Similarly, notifications are triggered if equipment starts moving but is not part of the plan. Additionally, engineers use the service log, where all repair work is recorded and maintenance is planned.
“Cropwise Operations generates reports based on collected data, including non-standard ones, such as machine productivity—how many hours they operated on specific days, downtime hours, and more. What makes this platform particularly appealing is that all information, including records of pesticides and fertilizers applied, is stored in one place with a retrospective of all the years the platform has been in use,” summarizes Nina Kharchenko.
