The Agro-Region Group of Companies has established close communication with beekeepers who bring their hives to the company\u2019s fields, and they also practice hiring beekeepers who specialize in pollination.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During the flowering period of the main honey plants \u2013 rapeseed and sunflower \u2013 the company strictly adheres to the obligations set by the relevant ministry to notify local authorities in advance about the use of crop protection products in communities, and they also take additional measures.<\/p>\n

This includes informing beekeepers via messenger broadcasts, social networks, and directly notifying those who place hives near the fields by posting appropriate notices.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Kateryna Moroz, Executive Director of the Chernihiv cluster, clarifies that Agro-Region Kozelets alone operates in settlements of two communities, which includes 11 starosta districts and 27 villages.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are interested in cooperating with beekeepers. That is why in this region we have information from starostas about apiaries and the contacts of their owners, which we update periodically. Currently, we have data on 111 hive owners. Notifications are carried out in three ways: paper announcements, SMS mailing, and a special Facebook group to fully cover all notification issues,\u201d she details.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

As for sunflower hybridization plots, in order to obtain a high-quality product, pollination by bees is one of the seed producer company\u2019s requirements. Agro-Region, following the recommended agronomic measures, hires beekeepers who specialize in pollination.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Chief Agronomist Yurii Lysak notes that with timely notification and the use of pesticides that are safe for bees if all regulations are followed, without using counterfeit products, and avoiding treatments during daytime and flowering, there will be no bee poisoning.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The company adds that mass sunflower blooming in the clusters is expected in 7-10 days.<\/p>\n
