In the Chernihiv Cluster of the Agro-Region Group of Companies, the crop structure for the 2025 agricultural season will allow for a 60% reduction in classical tillage, while minimum tillage will increase by 21%.<\/h3>\n

This was stated by Cluster Executive Director Kateryna Moroz.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She clarified that the crop rotation plan for the season includes a 70% increase in corn acreage, which is three times more than last year, reaching 5.9 thousand hectares.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Last year, we completed corn harvesting as early as October, thanks to both a relatively small sown area and favorable logistical conditions. This year, we will attempt to scale this experience to larger volumes,”<\/em> added Kateryna Moroz.<\/p>\n

Regarding other crops, the cluster has increased acreage by 16% for winter wheat\u2014to 4.1 thousand hectares, and by 11% for winter rapeseed\u2014to 2.6 thousand hectares.<\/p>\n

“The key factor is ensuring that weather conditions allow winter crops to enter spring in good shape,”<\/em> noted Kateryna Moroz.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Executive Director of the Chernihiv Cluster emphasized that increasing winter crop acreage helps the division distribute the workload for spring fieldwork, harvesting, and storage.<\/p>\n

“This year, we are significantly reducing oilseed and technical crops: sunflower by 35%\u2014to 2.9 thousand hectares, and soybeans by 50%\u2014to 1.8 thousand hectares,”<\/em> she concluded.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
