\u201cCorn planting dates are crucial for achieving a good yield. Even though the spring was unusually warm, we did not rush to plant. Instead, we sowed the crop at optimal times at the end of April. Additionally, during planting, there was sufficient productive moisture in the top meter of soil. However, precipitation during the growing season was uneven, although the corn received enough thermal energy,\u201d<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Yurii Lysak noted that March and April saw sufficient rainfall, May was dry, June delivered the necessary precipitation, while July and August were dry again.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Western cluster, late-season rains fell at the end of the corn\u2019s growing cycle, enabling a record yield of 11.7 t\/ha in the Zhytomyr region,\u201d<\/em> added the Chief Agronomist of Agro-Region.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
At the same time, weather conditions contributed to the corn maturing two weeks earlier, and the moisture content at harvest was close to the standard, minimizing drying costs this year.<\/p>\n

Yurii Lysak stated that this year, the company allocated 5,000 hectares for corn. Plans for the next year include returning to the pre-war crop rotation system, increasing the planted area to 15,000 hectares.<\/p>\n
