The Kyiv cluster systematically conducts analysis and soil quality assessment to forecast future yields and determine crop rotation in the respective area. This allows for identifying yield dynamics and promptly adjusting production plans. In 2023, the yield of the main crops was as follows: winter wheat – over 16 thousand tons, winter rapeseed – over 3 thousand tons, sunflower – over 10 thousand tons.

The lands of the Borispil region are predominantly dark gray, podzolized, and typical chernozems, which allows for effectively utilizing their fertility, while crop rotation promotes the rational use of soil quality characteristics. pH level: optimal – 50%, slightly acidic soils – 15%, alkaline soils – 35%. The average humus content ranges from 2.1 to 3.5%

Chemical soil amelioration is employed to improve the physical, chemical properties of soils, their chemical composition, liming, phosphorization, and gypsum application.
